3.2 Megapixel of Joy!

Roger finally puts out a decent camera phone for use.
That's okay, because we're in Canada.
We're used to getting the short stick in the mobile industry.

MEXICO!

This was an ad for vacationing in Mexico.
Good looking people.

Deep Fried Caplines

I fried some salted caplines for breakfast this morning and they was so
good.

They came straight from Newfoundland and were salted by a family friend
of ours. I dusted them lightly with corn starch and pan-fried them with
lard.

Orfus Road madness.

okay.

This place is insane.

This is where all the clothes in the mall goes if they are not sold, so
everything in all the stores are cheap.

Just look at this. $1 doesn't even cover the shipping cost from China.

Cheapest coffee around S@Y

Just inside the the Art building is the cheapest Coffee around TEL and
the Quinlan Buliding.

It's $1 (no tax) for a small and the cup holds around the same volumn as
a medium at Timmy's.

Yay!

Kensington Pedestrian Sundays

After Canzine, I went to Kensington Market's Pedestrian Sunday.

Much more interesting, especially with the Halloween theme.

Hotel CanZine

I went to the Hotel Canzine on Sunday for about an hour.
It was okay. Saw a few interesting things. But, ultimately, zines are
just not my thing. I got kind of bored and wigged out by some of the
fluorescent people there.

Spacing Magazine was there on another one of their Absurdist-Political projects. This one is for all user to map down where they work and where they live.

This guy is selling grilled cheese sandwiches to promote his film on grilled cheese sandwiches.

This workshop teaches people how to make puppets out of crap.

This guy wanted to reproduce his summer tree planting so he filled the hotel room with leaves, twigs, and a small, living tree.

I don't know what the hell this was... Well, I took the picture, so I do. What I meant is that it was some weird art thing that was just kind of loud and intentionally made on old film projector. Whatever.

She is a resident artist at the Gladestone. She has covered every inch of the room, including the floors, ceilings, walls, and windows, with an orange, shaggy rug.

These people burned stuff and filmed it. Smoked. Very neat.

For some reason, small 1" buttons were everywhere. People are either selling them, making them, or wearing them. I have some unflattering things to say about this, but I don't think it is suitable for public consumption.

A few cute girls in corsets though. The girl on the right makes them for a living. The girl on the left is just cute.

Last.FM on Flash

http://www.gizone.co.uk/lastfm/
If anybody actually notices this type of stuff, my last.FM player list hasn't changed in the past couple of months. That's partly because I haven't been using it.

Last.FM is fine whenever I am on my computer at home, but it isn't very portable onto other computers. Shackled to the Last.FM player and all.

Well, I met this guy, Jason Spiro, at the school computer lab and he showed me this:

I haven't tried it yet because I forgot my password. But I will. It will be awesome.
