Hotel CanZine

I went to the Hotel Canzine on Sunday for about an hour.
It was okay. Saw a few interesting things. But, ultimately, zines are
just not my thing. I got kind of bored and wigged out by some of the
fluorescent people there.

Spacing Magazine was there on another one of their Absurdist-Political projects. This one is for all user to map down where they work and where they live.

This guy is selling grilled cheese sandwiches to promote his film on grilled cheese sandwiches.

This workshop teaches people how to make puppets out of crap.

This guy wanted to reproduce his summer tree planting so he filled the hotel room with leaves, twigs, and a small, living tree.

I don't know what the hell this was... Well, I took the picture, so I do. What I meant is that it was some weird art thing that was just kind of loud and intentionally made on old film projector. Whatever.

She is a resident artist at the Gladestone. She has covered every inch of the room, including the floors, ceilings, walls, and windows, with an orange, shaggy rug.

These people burned stuff and filmed it. Smoked. Very neat.

For some reason, small 1" buttons were everywhere. People are either selling them, making them, or wearing them. I have some unflattering things to say about this, but I don't think it is suitable for public consumption.

A few cute girls in corsets though. The girl on the right makes them for a living. The girl on the left is just cute.
