This is the monstrous scale of New York.
@ this corner are two high schools, one six-seven stories, the other
four-five stories, both taking up a whole city block. I don't know how
many students are in each, people are friendly, but don't seem too
interested in entertaining tourists.
- Fiorello H. La Guardia HS of Music and Arts and Performing Arts.
- Martin Luther King Jr. HS (They have a monstrous bronze cube
commmemorating King.)
I went inside the library to use the bathroom and found a paperback
"Hero with a Thousand Faces" for fifty-cents. Yay!
Apparently, the Lincoln Ctr, and the famed-Juliard School is a block
over, so I'm going over for a look.
