Fulton Mall

It's not really a building, but a giant street they closed off to all
normal traffic. There are stores on either side, so it sort of feels
like a suburban mall, with only delivery trucks and buses on the road.

It's the kind of New York I wanted to see. There are discount shops next
chains stores. Street peddlers sells everything here, and cheaply, not
like the tourist traps at Times Square. But big stores are doing equally
well here. Even Macy's has a presence here.

You can buy a belt for $4, a hadbag for $10, and a diamond ring for
$60.

I guess this is what they were thinking about when they built "downtown
Scarborough" @ Scarborough Town Ctr.
