Broadway is divided by a large greenspace just like University Ave in
Toronto.
University always had a stupid light timing system. They give the
average pedestrian just enoug time to cross the road halfway. There is
nothing there tourists kind of mill around the median on the median.
People used to the light just run across, causing the whole thing to
look like that eighties video game, Frogger.
Unlike University, the light at Broadway is set so that a person pushing
a baby carriage can traverse the complete wideth in the alloted time.
This is smarter.
